  • A Carers Assessment must include consideration of a carers need in respect of education, training, employment and leisure opportunities - we can offer help and advice on this.

  • Are you thinking about returning too or starting work, but need help and support?

  • Are you an employer who is looking to develop carer friendly employment polices within your organisation or company

What is Action for Carers and Employment (ACE Surrey) do?

  •  Provide independent information, advice, and advocacy in relation to education, training, employment and leisure opportunities.

  •  Provide information about local training and career opportunities that fit around the caring role.

  • Seeking funding to meet the cost of training courses.

  • Supporting carers in planning their career choices.

  • Offering support in applying for jobs.

  •  Working with employers, trainers, careers and employment services to raise awareness of carers needs.

  • Encouraging employers to adopt carer friendly working practices

  • Providing information and advice to employers on how to support carers in the workplace.

All these services are FREE to carers,  former carers and employers
