Surrey County Councils Transformation Programme for in house Learning Disability Day Care Services

Surrey wishes to improve the day services which are offered to people with learning disability. There are two main proposals:

  • To develop more services in the community so people have more choice about how to spend their time. This proposal is referred to as Community Activities
  • To develop four buildings with specialist facilities and improve services for people with profound and multiple complex needs. This proposal is referred to as Centres of Excellence

The consultation process ran from the 14th July 2008 until the 14th November 2008. Below are the up to date reports about this issue
