We offer a range of services to adults Carers in Guildford. These services include:

• Independent Confidential Help / One-to-one support - home visits

• Information about services and the Right of Carers

• Information on benefits and help fill in Carer Related forms i.e. Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Carers Allowance

• Advocacy and support in obtaining services (writing letters, attending meetings)

• A confidential Carers mailing list for regular information and a free Carers newsletter

• Information on registering as a Carer with your GP Surgery / Social Services

• Support if you have recently ceased your caring role.

Meet the Staff 

Karen Lewis - Carer Support Worker (Generic) Full time - covering the areas of central Guildford and outlying areas including Stoughton, Shalford, Chilworth, Effingham, The Horsleys, Send, Clandon, Albury, Merrow, Burpham, Jacobs Well.

Sylvia Cunningham - Carer Support Worker (Generic) part time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday covering North West Guildford including Fairlands, Worplesdon, Rydes Hill, Wood Street, Normandy, Puttenham, Ash, Pirbright, Seale.

Maria Hewson - Carers  Support Worker (Generic and Parent Carers) part time Wednesday to Friday. Maria covers Guildford Borough, and supports Parents of Children 0-24 who have physical / mental disabilites, Special needs etc

Jenny Graham - Administration Assistant Part Time Tuesday / Wednesday
