about health services comments
NHS services want to know what you think about the services they provide. The NHS like to know what they do well and what they could do better. Everyone
likes to know if they are doing a good job and to receive a compliment. If
you have experienced a good service from the staff, it is important you let the
hospital, GP surgery, Health Centre etc know . The NHS need to know your views
on the services you receive so that they can constantly improve and raise
standards in all services that are provided. The information you give can
be used to makes changes for future patients and visitors. When making a comment
it is important that you do this at a senior level such as a Chief Executive of
a Primary Care Trust or Chief Executive of a hospital. Some NHS facilities have
a designated person who handles the comment made by patients and visitors. To
find out the most appropriate person to write to contact the individual agency
which you wish to comment to directly. complaints
You have the right to make a complaint about any aspect of NHS treatment
using the NHS complaints procedure. To use the procedure you must usually be a
patient or a former patient of the practitioner or institution concerned,
although it is possible to complain on behalf of someone else. If you want to
complain on behalf of another person, the hospital or practice must agree that
you are a suitable representative. For further details on how to complain
