If you are looking after someone on a unpaid basis who

  • is unable to manage alone

  • is a child with special needs

  • is elderly

  • has a learning difficulty

  • has mental health problems

         You are a carer

You may be  parents, son, daughter, sister, brother, partner, other relative, neighbour or friend of any age. The person you look after may live with you or some distance away.

Young Carers
